Summer Fun

Yesterday was a fun day. First, we went to the farm to get some produce. And they were giving out free watermelon too. Yum!

The kids had fun seeing the goats. Jordan was the only one who wanted to pet them, though.

Next, the kids played on the playground. I was surprised that Jaron hopped right on the merry-go-round. Usually, he doesn't like being on things that move, including swings.

This picture makes it look like Ashley was going down this slide. Actually, she was just climbing up about two feet & sliding down the end of it. lol

The swing was fun too.

The sandbox, not so much. I'm so glad I got this picture, though. Ashley was pouting because Jordan took her shovel. We see this look a lot, actually.

We came home & did the slip-n-slide later on in the afternoon. Actually, there was no sliding going on. They just liked to run through it like a sprinkler.

All that fun resulted in some dirty kiddos, so bathtime was in order.

This one was from Monday night, actually. Jordan helped me make some cookies. It was his first time. He even scooped them all onto the cookie sheet for me. Then we went for a walk to the park & came home & ate them for dessert.
