Joshua's Horseback Riding Lessons

For Joshua's 10th birthday this year, our present to him was horseback riding lessons. The lessons were in April & May (every Friday for 7 weeks), and tomorrow will be his last lesson. He's really enjoyed them & has gotten to do a wide variety of things with the horses. The lessons have ranged from 1-1/2 hours per lesson.


It was nice that he had a few of his friends taking lessons too.


He learned how to groom the horses...


He enjoyed petting the horses...


And he learned how to lead the horses...


He had a blast running while the horse followed.


And of course, he got lots of riding time in too...


It's been a great experience for him.
