We camped with friends this time- 8 other homeschooling families. There were almost 30 kids and only 11 adults (most of the dads had to work). It was quite the camping experience for us. There were kids everywhere! It rained during a good part of the trip, both of our air mattresses went flat, and on the last day of our trip, we ran out of napkins, paper towels, and baby wipes! Ah, the memories. LOL But we had fun with our friends & it was nice to get away.
Ethen, Joshua, and Daniel...
Joshua had a blast with all the other boys his age, catching crawdads, riding his bike, playing baseball, etc. It was a GREAT experience for him.
Our friends, Chris & Debbie, didn't camp but joined us for a bbq one evening. We just love those guys!
I don't think my kids had ever been so dirty in their life!
Joshua & Ethen had fun catching crawdads down at the creek.
The boys enjoyed playing baseball.
We gave Jordan his tricycle (birthday present) a little early so that he could ride it on this camping trip. That was his favorite thing to do, and he rode all over the campground many, many times. I enjoyed all the walks with him, so that he could ride, and it was fun to explore everywhere.
Ashley did great camping. Actually, all the kids did. It was a great experience for them. We look forward to more camping trips with them next summer.
