I love strawberry season. There's nothing like going out to the fields to pick fresh strawberries... sometimes eating just as many as make it into the bucket (well not quite). Last month, we made several trips out to a local farm and picked 9 buckets total. We froze most of them for smoothies for throughout the year. I also like to mix together strawberries, vanilla yogurt and granola for breakfast.
It was much easier for me to pick this year. Last year, I was 8 months pregnant (that was pretty rough)... this time, I was only 4 months along. And Joshua did pretty good, too... he picked 1 1/2 buckets this year. Even Jordan got in on the fun of eating strawberries.
