We went to pick it up on Joshua's birthday, so we joke that it was his birthday present. Actually, we plan to buy Joshua a new Bible for his birthday, but he'll get to help pick it out, and we haven't had a chance to do that yet.

A Suburban
A few weeks ago, we were able to upgrade to a larger vehicle... an older, red Chevy Suburban. We are very thankful for the additional space (& ability to tow) & will soon be selling our van.
We went to pick it up on Joshua's birthday, so we joke that it was his birthday present. Actually, we plan to buy Joshua a new Bible for his birthday, but he'll get to help pick it out, and we haven't had a chance to do that yet.

Nice rig, but no thank you to the gas mileage. That was our second vehicle and we got rid of it.
Thanks... well, I personally would have chosen something smaller, but my hubby's always wanted a suburban. It's really not much different than our van's gas mileage, actually... just a few mpg less.
Much cheaper to have a suburban than having a van AND a pick-up, though, so it all works out in the end... best of both worlds, I guess.
