Early to Bed, Early to Rise

Last fall, Jordan started sleeping in a toddler bed instead of the crib. At first, he had a racecar bed, but then he started falling out. So we switched him to this one that had sides. It worked much better for him.


And Jaron was finally able to move from the playpen into the crib.


It had a lot more space for him to move around.


The only problem was that, soon after Ashley was born, he kept getting up early in the morning & getting into things. Every day, it was something different. With a new baby in the house, it wasn't something I wanted to deal with at the time.


So after he got into David's electric razor (he buzzed a small section of hair off!), back into the crib he went.


So then in September, we tried again with him in the toddler bed & he did much better. He was pretty excited about it.


And Jaron has been happy to be back in the crib.


It's been working out really well for them.


They sure love to be goofy at bedtime & enjoy lots of laughing & tickling.


But once they're out, they are really good sleepers, thankfully.
