Our first trip was to the Portland area where Rebecca, one of my college roommates, was getting married. When I was in college, I lived in a house with three other girls. Although we all see each other from time to time, it had been almost 10 years since the four of us were all together at the same time.
So we planned a roommate reunion and I took the train to Washington, where we did a roommate reunion/sleepover at Susan's house. It was fun to all be together again after so many years. Although it certainly didn't seem like it had been ten years, a lot has happened since college. Susan is now married to a pastor, Tiffany is a stockbroker, and Rebecca is an architect. She & Tim will soon be missionaries to Jordan.

David & Joshua drove up the next day & we spent another night at Jon & Susan's house as a family. Joshua & Abby enjoyed playing together, and Susan & I had such a great time catching up. It was fun that we were both pregnant, although she has since had her baby. Congratulations, Susan!!
Rebecca's wedding wasn't for a few more days, so we spent a few days playing in Portland, hitting several children's museums, the IKEA store, the mall, etc, before attending the wedding.
